Services for Employers

In response to severe staffing shortages in the seniors’ care and living sector, the Immigrant Employment Council of British Columbia (IEC-BC) has partnered with BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) and EngAge BC to develop the seniors’ care stream of the FAST Program.

FAST Seniors Care helps immigrants to launch careers in B.C.’s seniors’ care and living sector through self-paced, online employment preparation and competency assessment tools developed in partnership with Canadian employers.

Why partner with FAST Seniors Care?

Are you an employer in the seniors’ living or care sector looking for experienced, skilled workers who are already pre-assessed and qualified to work in Canada? By hiring candidates who have completed FAST’s online employment preparation and competency assessments, employers can be confident that their new talent is ready for Canadian employment.

As an employer in the seniors' care and living sector, you can sign up with FAST Seniors Care to get access to qualified talent that possesses fundamental workplace and cultural skills, as well as foundational occupational skills, and meets English language requirements. Members of BC Care Providers Association and EngAge BC will benefit from enhanced support with onboarding to the online portal and with job matching.
